Bbq Nachos Recipe
A pile of fried to order tortilla chips with your choice of smoked meat and topped with tomato, red onion, jalapeños, sour cream, cheese and our house made sweet BBQ sauce. Great for appetizer or an entree.

Fry Tortilla Chips
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, fry the corn tortillas until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

If using leftovers, warm the smoked brisket and pulled pork in a pan over low heat until heated through. Shred or chop into bite-sized pieces.

Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is heated and slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
Assemble Nachos

Layer Ingredients
On a large serving platter, layer the fried tortilla chips. Top with warm smoked meat, diced tomato, diced red onion, sliced jalapeños, and shredded cheese.

Drizzle BBQ Sauce
Drizzle the prepared BBQ sauce over the nachos, then add a dollop of sour cream on top.
