Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Preparing the Burger Patties

1

Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

2

Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking.

Cooking the Burgers

3

Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

4

Cook Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.

5

Add BBQ Sauce

During the last minute of cooking, brush each patty generously with BBQ sauce and close the grill lid to allow the sauce to caramelize.

Assembling the Burger

6

Prepare Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill if desired.

7

Assemble the Burger

Place each cooked burger patty on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Top with sliced onions and pickles, then drizzle a little more BBQ sauce if desired. Place the top half of the bun on top.
