Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the vegetables
Chop the cherry tomatoes in half, slice the red onion into thin rings, and roughly chop the black olives. Mince the garlic cloves.

Season the salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Sauté the garlic and onions
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced red onions, sautéing until the onions become translucent, about 3-5 minutes.

Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and chopped black olives. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.
