Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Pat the boneless chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Peppers

Remove the stems and seeds from the hot cherry peppers and slice them in half lengthwise.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sauté for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Garlic and Peppers

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced hot cherry peppers. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and the peppers are tender.

  3. 5

    Deglaze with Balsamic Vinegar

Pour in the balsamic vinegar and stir to deglaze the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes.

  4. 6

    Combine and Finish Cooking

Return the sautéed chicken to the skillet, adding fresh thyme. Coat the chicken with the balsamic sauce and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
