Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling a rocks glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 1 oz of gin, 1 oz of Campari, and 1 oz of sweet vermouth.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice, approximately 1 cup, to chill the mixture thoroughly.

Stir the Mixture
Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon for about 30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.

Strain into Glass
Remove the ice from the chilled rocks glass and strain the cocktail into the glass.

Garnish
Garnish the cocktail with a slice of orange peel, expressing the oils over the drink before placing it in the glass.
