Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the stale baguette into small cubes. In a mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, and salt. Toss until evenly coated. Spread the croutons on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.

In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce with the creamy dressing and toss well to coat. Add the crispy pancetta and croutons. Finally, sprinkle the shaved Parmesan cheese on top and serve immediately.
