Method

Preparation of Stuffing

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, mix together the cooked crab meat, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, minced garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Prepare Flounder

  1. 2

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 3

    Stuff the Fish

Lay the flounder fillets on a clean surface. Spoon an even amount of the crab stuffing onto the center of each fillet. Carefully fold the fillet over the stuffing to create a pocket.

Bake the Fish

  1. 4

    Prepare Baking Dish

Grease a baking dish with non-stick spray or a little butter.

  2. 5

    Arrange Fillets

Place the stuffed flounder fillets seam-side down in the greased baking dish.

  3. 6

    Prepare Topping

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, lemon zest, and chopped parsley.

  4. 7

    Add Topping

Drizzle the butter mixture over the stuffed fillets.

  5. 8

    Bake

Bake the stuffed flounder in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serve

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Once cooked, remove the stuffed flounder from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

  2. 10

    Garnish

Garnish with additional chopped parsley, if desired, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
