Preparation

1

Infusing the Botanicals

In a large glass jar, combine the juniper berries, coriander seeds, dried orange peel, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, angelica root, orris root, and fresh lemongrass. Pour the neutral grain spirit over the botanicals, ensuring they are fully submerged. Seal the jar and let it infuse for at least 24 hours, shaking it gently every few hours.

2

Straining the Mixture

After the infusion period, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bottle to remove the solid botanicals. Discard the solids.

3

Creating the Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Let it cool.

4

Mixing the Gin

Once the syrup is cooled, mix it with the strained gin infusion. Adjust sweetness to taste.

5

Bottling

Transfer the final gin mixture into a clean bottle. Seal tightly and store in a cool, dark place.
