Mahi Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Mahi Sandwich Directions

1

Prepare the Mahi-Mahi

Rinse the mahi-mahi fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

2

Season the Fish

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture on both sides of the mahi-mahi fillets.

3

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375°F (190°C).

4

Grill the Mahi-Mahi

Place the seasoned mahi-mahi fillets on the grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

5

Prepare the Tomato

While the fish is grilling, slice the tomato into thin rounds.

6

Assemble the Sandwich

Once the mahi-mahi is cooked, place each fillet on a slice of bread or bun. Top with lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, and a generous amount of tartar sauce. Close the sandwich with another slice of bread or the top bun.

7

Serve

Serve the mahi sandwich immediately while it's hot, with additional tartar sauce on the side if desired.
