Prepare the Pasta

Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add salt and then the fettuccine pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Season and Grill the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Make the Alfredo Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Add Cheese and Season
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Add nutmeg, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir well and keep warm.
Combine and Serve

Mix Everything Together
In the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, add the cooked fettuccine and toss to coat the pasta evenly. Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the pasta.

Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top for garnish. Serve hot and enjoy your creamy Chicken Alfredo!
