Burger Patties

Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making sure they are slightly larger than the burger buns as they will shrink while cooking.

Cook the Burger Patties

  1. 3

    Heat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, you may add a little oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium doneness. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster if desired.

  2. 6

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf followed by the cooked patty. Add a slice of tomato on top and any additional condiments like ketchup and mustard to taste. Place the top half of the bun over the ingredients.

Serve

  1. 7

    Enjoy Your Burger

Serve the burgers immediately while hot with your choice of side dishes such as fries or a salad.
