Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the tomato, onion, and pickles. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and form into loose balls. Season each with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef balls to the skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of cheese on each patty. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the brioche buns in a separate pan or in the oven until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Place one patty on the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, add the tomato slices, pickles, and onion slices. Top with the second patty and cover with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
