Chicken Strips
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips of desired size.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow bowls, place flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in the third.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip into the flour, shaking off excess. Then, dip it into the egg, allowing excess to drip off. Finally, coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken Strips
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 6
Serve
Serve the crispy chicken strips hot with house fries, flashed fried kale, and your choice of sauce.
