Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash all the fruits and vegetables thoroughly under running water. Peel the pineapple, ginger, and lemon.

  2. 2

    Chop the Pineapple

Cut the pineapple into small chunks, removing the core.

  3. 3

    Slice the Apple

Core and slice the apple into quarters, leaving the skin on for added nutrients.

  4. 4

    Chop the Cucumber

Slice the cucumber into smaller pieces for easier blending.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Greens

Tear the kale and spinach leaves into smaller pieces.

  6. 6

    Chop the Celery

Cut the celery stalks into smaller segments.

  7. 7

    Prepare the Ginger

Grate the ginger using a fine grater.

  8. 8

    Juice the Lemon

Cut the lemon in half and juice it, removing any seeds.

Blending

  1. 9

    Blend Ingredients

In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, apple slices, cucumber pieces, kale, spinach, celery, grated ginger, and lemon juice.

  2. 10

    Add Water

Add about 1-2 cups of water to help with blending, depending on your desired consistency.

  3. 11

    Blend Until Smooth

Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and smooth, about 1-2 minutes.

Serving

  1. 12

    Strain if Desired

If you prefer a smoother juice, pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher.

  2. 13

    Serve

Pour the juice into glasses and serve immediately for the best flavor and nutrients.

  3. 14

    Garnish

Garnish with a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass, if desired.
