In an old-fashioned glass, place the sugar cube and saturate with two dashes of Angostura bitters. Muddle until the sugar dissolves and coats the bottom.

Pour the Hennessy VS over the muddled sugar and bitters. Stir gently to combine.

Add ice to the glass, filling about halfway.

Stir well for about 20-30 seconds to chill and dilute slightly.
