Sesame Seared Tuna

Prepare the Tuna
Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Marinate
In a shallow dish, mix together sesame oil and soy sauce. Add the tuna steaks and marinate for 15 minutes, turning occasionally.

Coat with Sesame Seeds
Spread sesame seeds on a plate and press each tuna steak into the seeds to coat both sides.

Sear the Tuna
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of sesame oil. Sear the tuna for 1-2 minutes on each side for rare, or longer to your desired doneness.
