Osage Spinach Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the spinach

Rinse the fresh spinach leaves thoroughly under cold water and remove any tough stems. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté aromatics

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and shallots, and sauté until they are fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the spinach

Add the spinach leaves to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until wilted, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add cream and seasonings

Pour in the heavy cream, and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the mixture is heated through and well combined.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from heat, adjust seasoning to taste, and serve warm alongside USDA Prime Steaks.
