Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the woody ends of the asparagus and steam or blanch until tender, about 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bone-in Filet

Season the bone-in filet mignon with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest.

  3. 3

    Make the Creamed Corn

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add corn kernels and sugar, and cook for about 5 minutes. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for an additional 5 minutes until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Serve

Plate the bone-in filet alongside the creamed corn and asparagus. Enjoy!
