Filling Ingredients

Method

Filling Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Eggs

Begin by hard-boiling the eggs. Place them in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes. Afterward, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool, then peel and set aside.

  2. 2

    Mix the Filling

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well-combined.

  3. 3

    Add Egg Yolks

Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks. Add the yolks to the cream cheese mixture. Mash the yolks with a fork and mix until fully integrated into the filling mixture.

  4. 4

    Finish the Filling

Fold in the chopped fresh parsley to the filling mixture. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper if necessary.
