Prepare the Waffle Batter

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; small lumps are acceptable.
Make the Waffles

Preheat Waffle Iron
Preheat your Belgian waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Cook the Waffles
Once preheated, lightly grease the waffle iron. Pour enough batter into the center of the waffle iron to just cover the waffle grid. Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove and Keep Warm
Carefully remove the waffles and keep them warm in a low oven while you repeat with the remaining batter.

Make Whipped Cream
In a chilled mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.

Prepare Strawberries
While the cream is being whipped, wash and hull the strawberries. Slice them and set aside.
Serve

Plate the Waffles
Place a warm waffle on a plate, top with a generous amount of sliced strawberries, and dollop with whipped cream.
