Ribeye Steak

Garlic Butter Glaze

Method

Ribeye Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Steak

Heat olive oil in a grill or skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.

Garlic Butter Glaze

  1. 3

    Make the Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.

  2. 4

    Glaze the Steak

Once the steak is cooked, brush the garlic butter glaze over the top while it rests for a few minutes.

Beef Au Jus

  1. 5

    Prepare the Au Jus

In a saucepan, combine beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped onion. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Smoked Gouda Hash Browns

  1. 6

    Cook the Hash Browns

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the grated potatoes and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until they start to brown.

  2. 7

    Add Cheese and Onions

Sprinkle shredded smoked gouda and chopped green onions over the potatoes. Press down gently and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and potatoes are crispy.
