Ginger-Peach Puree

House Lemonade

Fresh Iced Tea

Method

Ginger-Peach Puree

  1. 1

    Prepare the Puree

In a medium saucepan, combine the diced peaches, grated ginger, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture starts to bubble and the peaches are soft, about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Blend the Puree

Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool slightly. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth. Set aside to cool completely.

House Lemonade

  1. 3

    Make the Lemonade

In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. 4

    Add Water

Add 4 cups of water to the pitcher and stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Fresh Iced Tea

  1. 5

    Brew the Tea

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat, add the black tea bags, and steep for 5-7 minutes depending on your desired strength.

  2. 6

    Sweeten the Tea (optional)

If desired, add 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar to the hot tea and stir until dissolved. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a tall glass, add a few tablespoons of the ginger-peach puree. Fill the glass halfway with ice, then pour equal parts of the lemonade and iced tea over the puree. Stir gently to combine.

  2. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with a slice of peach or a sprig of mint if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Peachy Palmer!
