Method
Preparing the Chicken Patty
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them evenly with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
Assembling the Burger
- 3
Prepare the Tomato
While the chicken is resting, slice the tomato into even slices.
- 4
Toast the Buns
Optional: You can toast the brioche buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each brioche bun, spread 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the mayo, followed by a grilled chicken breast. Add a slice of tomato on top of the chicken, then cover with the top half of the bun.
