Filet Mignon

Prepare the Steak
Remove the filet mignon from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This will help it cook evenly.

Season the Steak
Generously season both sides of the filet mignon with salt and black pepper.

Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and chopped fresh parsley. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Beef Au Jus

Make the Au Jus
In a small saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.

Serve the Au Jus
Serve the au jus alongside the filet mignon for dipping.
Smoked Gouda Hash Browns

Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and grate the potatoes using a box grater. Rinse them under cold water to remove excess starch and then dry them thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel.

Once both sides are crispy, sprinkle the smoked gouda cheese over the top and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
