Banana Cream Pie

Prepare the crust
In a pie dish, press the graham cracker crust into the bottom and up the sides. Set aside.

Make the pudding
In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Allow it to set according to package instructions.

Layer the pie
Slice bananas and layer them over the crust. Pour the prepared pudding over the bananas. Top with whipped topping and sprinkle with chocolate shavings if desired.

Chill
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Chocolate Cake

Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a small cake pan.

Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together.

Combine mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Bread Pudding

Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking dish.

Bake
Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.

Allow the bread pudding to cool slightly before serving.
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Prepare the mixture
In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

Add vanilla
Add the scraped seeds from the vanilla bean and the pod to the mixture. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and let it steep for 30 minutes.

Combine and cook
Pour the yolk mixture back into the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon.

Chill and churn
Strain the mixture into a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until completely chilled. Freeze according to your ice cream maker’s instructions.
