Method
Chicken Tenders Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into tenders, about 1-1.5 inches wide.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken tender into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Place on a plate and repeat until all tenders are breaded.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the breaded chicken tenders to the hot oil. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
Fries Preparation
- 6
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.
- 7
Soak the Fries
Soak the cut potatoes in water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- 8
Heat the Oil for Fries
In a separate pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- 9
Fry the Fries
Once the oil is hot, add the soaked fries in batches. Fry for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
