Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide. Season them with salt, pepper, and paprika, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
Batter
- 2
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together to eliminate any lumps. In another bowl, whisk the cold water and egg together, then gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
Frying
- 3
Fry the Chicken Fingers
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Dip each chicken strip into the batter, allowing excess to drip off before gently placing it into the hot oil. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

Serve the Dish
Once all chicken fingers are fried, serve them hot with your choice of crispy fries or fresh fruit on the side. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce if desired.
