Burger Preparation

Prepare the Beef Patties
In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.

Melt the Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty, cover the skillet, and let it melt.

Toast the Buns
In the same skillet, toast the burger buns for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Assemble the Burger
Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the patty with melted cheese, slices of tomato, and top with the other half of the bun.

Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to form fries.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches around 175°C (350°F).

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Drain and Season
Remove the fries from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt to taste.
