Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty, cover the skillet, and let it melt.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

In the same skillet, toast the burger buns for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the patty with melted cheese, slices of tomato, and top with the other half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to form fries.

  2. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches around 175°C (350°F).

  3. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  4. 9

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt to taste.
