Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Biscuits

Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until just combined. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.

2

Cook the Meat

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon or sausage until crispy and browned. Remove and drain on paper towels. Keep some drippings in the pan for gravy.

3

Make the Gravy

In the same skillet, add sausage crumbles and cook until browned. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

4

Cook the Eggs

In a separate skillet, cook the eggs to your preference (scrambled, fried, etc.). Season with salt and pepper.

5

Serve

Plate the eggs, meat, and biscuits. Top the biscuits with sausage gravy. Enjoy your Southern breakfast!
