Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Grapefruit

Begin by washing the grapefruit thoroughly. Cut it in half and then slice each half into thin wedges, removing any seeds.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the Prairie Gin, sliced grapefruit, fresh mint leaves, and Peychaud bitters. Stir gently to mix the ingredients together.

  3. 3

    Add Sweetener

If you prefer a sweeter sangria, add honey or agave syrup to the mixture. Start with a small amount and stir, tasting as you go, until you reach your desired sweetness.

  4. 4

    Chill the Mixture

Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

  5. 5

    Serve the Sangria

Once chilled, remove the pitcher from the refrigerator. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria mixture over the ice.

  6. 6

    Top with Sparkling Water

Add the sparkling water to each glass for a refreshing fizz. Stir gently to combine.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Enjoy

Garnish each glass with additional mint leaves or grapefruit slices if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing white sangria!
