Taco Platter Ingredients
Method
Taco Platter Directions
- 1
Prepare the Ground Beef
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Meat
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- 3
Season the Meat
Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the seasoning is well mixed and the beef is flavorful.
- 4
Heat the Tortillas
In a separate skillet, lightly toast the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until they are warm and pliable.
- 5
Assemble the Tacos
On each tortilla, layer a generous amount of the seasoned ground beef, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- 6
Add Toppings
Top each taco with a dollop of sour cream, a spoonful of salsa, and slices of avocado. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
- 7
Serve
Arrange the taco platters on a large serving dish and serve immediately with extra toppings on the side.
