Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

In a medium bowl, combine the crab meat and prawns. If using raw prawns, cook them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink, then drain and let cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Avocado

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash it lightly with a fork, adding a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Toast the Muffins

Split the English muffins in half and toast them until golden brown. You can use a toaster or broil them in the oven for a few minutes.

  2. 4

    Heat the Hollandaise Sauce

If using store-bought hollandaise sauce, gently warm it in a small saucepan over low heat. If making homemade, prepare according to your recipe.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On each toasted muffin half, spread a generous layer of mashed avocado. Top with the crab and prawn mixture. Drizzle the warm hollandaise sauce over the seafood.

  2. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle fresh dill on top for garnish and serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the dish.
