Pulled Pork Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Pork
Season the pork shoulder with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spices evenly over the meat.
- 2
Cook the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Add apple cider vinegar and water. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, until the pork is tender and can be shredded easily.
- 3
Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix in the BBQ sauce. Let it heat through for about 30 minutes.
Coleslaw Preparation
- 4
Prepare the Vegetables
Shred the green cabbage and carrots using a box grater or food processor. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 5
Mix the Dressing
In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 6
Combine Coleslaw
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots. Toss well to combine. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
