Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Scrub the baking potatoes under running water and pat them dry. Poke several holes in each potato with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.

  2. 2

    Salt Crust

Rub the potatoes with olive oil, then roll them in coarse sea salt until they are completely coated. Place them directly on the oven rack.

Baking the Potatoes

  1. 3

    Bake Potatoes

Bake the potatoes for 45-60 minutes or until they are fork-tender. The salt crust will help keep them moist and flavorful.

Cooking the Crab

  1. 4

    Prepare the Crab

While the potatoes are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley and lemon juice.

  2. 5

    Cook the Crab

Place the crab legs in a steamer basket over boiling water, cover, and steam for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven. Cut open the tops and fluff the insides with a fork. Serve the crab legs alongside the potatoes, drizzling the garlic butter mixture over the crab and potatoes. Enjoy!
