Crab Fries

Method

Preparation and Assembly

  1. 1

    Cook the Fries

Preheat your oven and cook the frozen French fries according to package instructions until they are golden and crispy.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Crab Mixture

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the cooked crab meat, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and heat through for about 3-5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Dish

Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them on a large serving platter. Top the fries with the crab mixture, then sprinkle the shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Return the loaded fries to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
