Toasted Ravioli
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Breading Station
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- 2
Bread the Ravioli
Dip each ravioli first in the flour, shaking off excess, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Set aside on a plate.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
- 4
Fry the Ravioli
Carefully add the breaded ravioli to the skillet in batches, making sure not to overcrowd. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- 5
Drain and Serve
Remove the toasted ravioli from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with warmed pomodoro sauce for dipping.
