Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Lemon Tarragon Butter
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, fresh tarragon leaves, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix until well combined and set aside.
- 2
Season the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 3
Cook the Salmon
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes. Flip the fillets carefully and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- 4
Finish with Butter
Remove the skillet from heat and top each salmon fillet with a generous dollop of the lemon tarragon butter. Allow it to melt over the hot salmon.
