Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Romaine

Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Croutons and Dressing

Add the croutons and Caesar dressing to the bowl with the romaine. Toss the salad until the lettuce is evenly coated with the dressing.

  3. 3

    Add Parmesan

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the salad and give it one last gentle toss.

Sautéed Broccoli Preparation

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 6

    Cook the Broccoli

Add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender-crisp.

Creamy Cognac-Cracked Pepper Sauce Preparation

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, cognac, and cracked black pepper.

  2. 8

    Simmer the Sauce

Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently. Allow it to cook for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt to taste.
