Preparation

  1. 1

    Muddle the Ingredients

In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the fresh blueberries and mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush the blueberries and mint together until the blueberries are broken up and the mint is fragrant.

  2. 2

Add Lime Juice and Simple Syrup

Pour in the freshly squeezed lime juice and simple syrup over the muddled mixture. Stir gently to combine all the flavors.

  3. 3

    Add Rum

Add the Ron Matusalem 15yr Rum to the glass. Stir again to mix all the ingredients well.

  4. 4

    Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes to the top.

  5. 5

    Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice and muddled mixture, filling the glass. Stir gently to combine.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with additional mint leaves and a few whole blueberries on top. Serve immediately with a straw or cocktail stirrer.
