Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Steak
Take the ribeye steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 to 60 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking.
Season the Steak
Generously season both sides of the steak with kosher salt and black pepper. Press the seasoning into the meat for better adherence.
Check for Doneness
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, it should read 130-135°F (54-57°C). Adjust cooking time as needed for desired doneness.
Rest the Steak
Remove the steak from the skillet and place it on a cutting board. Tent it loosely with aluminum foil and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
