Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat

In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, ground turkey, or shredded chicken. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  2. 2

    Season the Meat

Add the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the meat. Stir well to combine and let cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.

Assembling Tacos

  1. 3

    Warm the Taco Shells

If using soft taco shells, warm them in a microwave or on a skillet for about 30 seconds. For hard taco shells, bake them in the oven according to package instructions.

  2. 4

    Fill the Tacos

Spoon the prepared meat mixture into each taco shell, filling them generously.

  3. 5

    Add Toppings

Top each taco with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and a spoonful of salsa.
