Method

Chicken Tenders Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into tenders, about 1-inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in one; beaten eggs in the second; and bread crumbs in the third.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dip each chicken tender into the flour mixture, coating evenly. Then dip into the eggs, and finally into the bread crumbs, pressing down to adhere.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  5. 5

    Fry the Chicken

Carefully place the breaded chicken tenders into the hot oil and fry for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Work in batches if necessary.

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the chicken tenders from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Serving Options Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Fries

If using frozen fries, cook according to package instructions until golden and crispy.

  2. 8

    Prepare the Rice

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of rice with 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, then lower heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until water is absorbed.
