Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Cavatelli

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the cavatelli pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked cavatelli and English peas to the skillet with the shrimp. Stir to combine. Reduce heat to low and add the fontina cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.

  4. 4

    Prepare Breadcrumb Topping

In a separate small pan, toast the breadcrumbs over medium heat until golden brown. Add a drizzle of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the shrimp cavatelli and sprinkle with toasted breadcrumbs and Grana Padano cheese. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
