Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Puff Pastry

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to smooth any creases.

2

Layer Ingredients

Spread the whole grain mustard evenly over the puff pastry. Then, layer slices of Taleggio cheese on top, followed by your choice of sliced seasonal fruit.

3

Season

Sprinkle salt and pepper over the cheese and fruit layers to taste.

4

Fold and Seal

Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the filling to create a parcel. Press firmly to seal, and use a knife to make a few slits on top for steam to escape.

5

Egg Wash

Beat the egg and brush it over the surface of the pastry for a golden finish.

6

Bake

Place the pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

7

Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm as an appetizer or a light main dish.
