Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meatball Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, grated parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Meatballs

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Spicy Marinara Sauce

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add crushed tomatoes, minced red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the spicy marinara sauce. Serve with ciabatta bread and a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano on top.
