Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ham

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.

  2. 2

    Make the Glaze

In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar. Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.

  3. 3

    Score the Ham

Using a sharp knife, score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern. Insert cloves into the intersections of the cuts.

  4. 4

    Apply the Glaze

Brush half of the glaze over the ham, covering it evenly.

  5. 5

    Bake the Ham

Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour.

  6. 6

    Finish the Glaze

Remove the foil, brush the remaining glaze over the ham, and bake uncovered for another 30-45 minutes, or until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  7. 7

    Rest and Serve

Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
