Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the country ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Sear the Ribs

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ribs and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

  4. 4

    Prepare for Baking

Place the seared ribs in a baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and water. Pour the mixture over the ribs.

  5. 5

    Bake the Ribs

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  6. 6

    Finish and Serve

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce. Once done, let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
