Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preparation

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

  2. 2

    Score the Ham

Using a sharp knife, score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern. Be careful not to cut too deep.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Glaze

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and water until well combined.

  4. 4

    Add Cloves

Insert cloves into the intersections of the scored diamonds on the ham.

  5. 5

    Glaze the Ham

Brush the glaze generously over the ham, making sure to get it into the scored cuts.

  6. 6

    Bake the Ham

Place the ham in a roasting pan and cover with foil. Bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the remaining glaze.

  7. 7

    Finish Baking

Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize and the ham to brown.

  8. 8

    Rest and Serve

Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
