Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side until well coated.

In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the soaked bread slices to the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Add more butter as needed and continue cooking the remaining slices of bread.
