Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. This should take about 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on paper towels to drain excess fat. Once cooled, crumble or chop the bacon into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the bacon is cooking, wash the iceberg lettuce thoroughly. Cut the head of lettuce into quarters, creating wedges. Next, rinse the cherry tomatoes under cold water and cut them in half. Peel the red onion and slice it thinly.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Assemble the Wedge Salad

On a large plate, place one wedge of iceberg lettuce. Drizzle the blue cheese dressing generously over the wedge. Top with crumbled bacon, halved cherry tomatoes, and slices of red onion. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 4

    Serve and Enjoy

Repeat the assembly for the remaining wedges. Serve immediately as a side dish or appetizer.
